The Gruffalo Norfolk Theatre reviews
Alegria is amazing!!
Alegria is a fantastic celebration of human creativity and abilities. The costumes can only enhance the show and are always beyond creative. Each set of performance constantly astounds me, catching my breath many times during the show. I have attended many The Gruffalo shows and each time I am amazed by Alegria. The singers interacting with the performers make everything come together and flow very well. The abilities of each performance set constantly astounds me. My favorite moments were the flying man and the hula-hoop woman. The hula-hoop woman was able to move and transfer the hoops in an amazing way. I envy the flying man for being able to soar over the crowd. The clowns draw the laughter out of the audience effortlessly. They drag some audience members onto the stage to "assist" in whatever stunt they are trying to pull, and I can't help but double up with amusement. I held my breath as he tumbled down, unwinding and finally catching himself, springing back up. I really enjoy the fact that the music is always original and live. Alegria is an awe-inspiring presentation of acrobatic feats and talents. I would and do tell everyone I know to see not just Alegria, but any The Gruffalo show. It is an experience everyone should have.
